This is a stunning gem of a 1980s ballgown! 100% silk ikat print in peacock colours by Monsoon Twilight, it has a deep sweetheart neck, voluminous puffed sleeves, a flattering pointed waistline and a full skirt that has both structure and swish. At the back there is a fashion bow that snaps on at the waist (and there was probably another smaller one at the top of the back neckline as there are another set of snaps - you can also attach the waist bow there).
This dress is perfect for anyone after a vintage fantasy prom or bridesmaid gown, and I must add it feels very Bella Baxter. The fabric is of high quality, the colour is rich and vibrant and like all Monsoon Twilight pieces it is crafted with care and attention to detail.
