It's a delightful seaside special! Vintage 1980s Italian knit top with blue skies, a beach umbrella and sun lounger ready to make your day on the sands a memorable one. Or, if it's in the UK, to invoke a beach-perfect day no matter what the weather is doing. As I live by the seaside, this knit speaks to my deepest yearnings and my enthusiasm for all the holidaymaking that goes on here in Margate.
Label says Designed by Gino Baraldi - who surely had a whimsical sensibility despite the disappointing lack of information about his career and works on the old internet. What is certain is that this is a high quality piece, in great condition, and it is never too late in any year to wear summer styles (especially if they are knitwear!)
