This is a stunning 1950s cocktail dress with a satin bodice, petal waist peplum and voluminous tulle skirt with flocked spots. This dress was worn by my partner's mother to university balls in the late 1950s and has been stored away ever since! It is in excellent condition and was extrmeley well made. Back metal zipper, and horsehair braiding in the lining hem to keep the full shape without a petticoat.
No maker's label (was made to measure in London).
