A remarkably stylish antique blouse that has been fashion from a Victorian nightdress or smock.
This is made from the smoothest, crispest cotton in a very tight weave and has exquisite details - pintucks, lace edges and gathered sleeves and back. All done by hand - except for my recent repairs. A damaged bottom portion has been cut, and a torn side seam repaired with fusible and overstitching (see last 2 photos). There are a few tiny marks on the inner sleeve, and under the collar on the left shoulder but overall this piece is creamy white and has no holes, discolouration or fraying.
Size XS-S - very narrow shoulders (36cm across the back), although the pit-to-pit measurement is 46cm. It fits the size 6-8 mannequin with all buttons closed perfectly.
I'm listing it as a UK 8 / but could fit a small 10 or even 12.
