Yes, it is a truly iconic piece of postmodern fashion design by Franco Moschino. The question mark dress, 1988-89 in brown wool with cream question mark collar. I've seen this dress in black and had wondered if this was merely faded or made to measure, and the evenness of the tone and quality of the fabric overall makes me sure it was made up in this colour. The dress has no size labels, and the hem is not stitched up. I've had it in my own collection for 15 years, and it was purchased at a reputable vintage consignment shop in London, who had acquired it from the original owner. Selling it to re-invest in my business and hoping it goes to a collector / wearer who will treasure it.
I'm selling it "as seen" and for much less than these seem to earn because it is missing the hanging dot to the question mark. It was always absent since I've had it, and it is something that could be re-created quite easily.
