A bold graphic iteration of the classic newspaper print - Y2K fashion style! Fragments of text and typography that include "Paris" and "Nueva York" as well as some patches of squiggle print just for good measure. It's a 1950s inspires silhouette, with square neckline and full demi-circle skirt and I suspect that it was inspired both by early 2000s Galliano for Dior and the popularity of quirky vintage style triggered by Sex and the City. Fragments of text seem to be collaged from various sources. Some mention of the NY Giants in there.
I've been nurturing my affinity for newspaper print items and this one is a true standout. Texture weave in the fabric gives it even a bit more of a papery feel. Crisp and with lots of body. Bodice is lined. Side zipper.
