Utterly charming full apron with musical instruments print - banjo, drum, accordion and trumpet - with leaf vines. Very 1940s conversational! Colour combination is perfection - palest yellow with dark violet, mauve and apricot print. Linen weave - possibly rayon with a slight sheen.
This is romantic in its design and print as well as its well-worn and carefully repaired condition. Classic make do and mend, with skilful patch mends. (See in photos).
