For those who love their blouses bright and are connoisseurs of print design this will be an utter thrill! Margheretha Ley really outdid herself with this design, I am sure you'll agree. Multi-coloured paintbrush vertical stripe with brushstroke scrollwork over the shoulders and at the cuffs. It's like a wrought iron gate in front of a magic kingdom of rainbows. Has a Spanish midcentury feel - and maybe was evoking the masters that Ley was a model for in the 1950s?
It's a statement piece beyond all words!
Condition is excellent. Has been dry cleaned before photographs taken, and was purchased from the daughter of the original owner who noted it had hung in a wardrobe for three decades.
